I have been inspired by iconic female journalists and writers such as: Hella Pick, Joan Didion, Caitlin Moran and Terri White.The works of these incredible writers ignited my passion for being able to write works of journalism that not only inform readers, but also immerse them in a new understanding.

 

I strive to find and create stories with unique, often unacknowledged angles and pride myself on my ability  to write features that are bold, descriptive and colourful but also practical and informative news articles.

In my free time I love to be creative, whether it's making things out of clay to add to my online shop or starting to learn about horticulture.

Having been able to incorporate my illustration skill on Procreate into my Final Journalism Project print layout, I hope to further incorporate my creative skills into my work, such as film photography. I believe that by embellishing my work with unique, creative aspects it can help bring my journalism work to life.
